Great Food – Great Building

I have to mention one of my favorite places for lunch- Kelley & Ping. It’s located at 127 Greene St. in New York City’s Soho section.  Opening in 1991, it has been a consistent winner for fresh and delicious Asian-inspired dishes. All food is created in front of you in the open kitchen. Along with their full lunch and dinner menus, they have a wonderful selection of Asian teas to either take home or enjoy in their comfortable cafe area.

The building is also very much worth mentioning. A classic 19th century industrial building with a well maintained cast-iron facade, set on one of the  City’s remaining cobblestone streets. The whole experience makes for a very nice departure from the normal day-to-day.
