Upper Playground was established in 1998 with the goal of giving local up-and-coming artists a venue where progressive art and fashion can be mutually supported. Since then, the goal has remained the same and the brand has succeeded in growing to an international business with product in over 300 boutiques- as well as owning 10 of their own shops in the US and overseas.

They’ve always done a great job keeping their walrus logo fresh and fun, giving it a new spin to coincide with expansions into new markets.

*Also a worthy note: Upper Playground’s enthusiasm and support for the artist community has given rise to Walrus TV, where artist’s video interviews and works are featured. Always a wide mix of talent and something interesting is always found.
