Hi,
I'm sorry to say that the photos in the post were all I had of the vintage shirts. I wish that I had been in the Levis archives longer than the day that I spent there. The tag on the shirt is noted "1960's" - not an exact date, but at least within the decade. I hope that helps.
On the subject of your pictures, would you be interested in a guest post? From one collector of vintage to another it could be really great. I'll email you separately.

Very best,
Andrew

I just wanted to know if you have any more pictures of the blue plaid levis shirt with the shine underneath the red and gray plaid shirt. I recently have found one similar, but I'm trying to date it. If you could help me out, or if you want me to send you some pictures of my vintage levis shirt collection it would be appreciated

I wish I had a solid source to share with you. I don't know if you are out in LA very often, but the American Rag warehouse (just outside LA) is a great place to go through for vintage shirts (and their retail store on LaBrea in LA).
American Rag warehouse
1146 Vail Ave.
Montelbello, CA. 90640
tel. 323-722-9907
(You have to make an appointment)
I would think checking into Ebay regularly would help too.
The Levi's archives was a lot of fun. I could have spent a year in there!

My long search for the 80's/early 90's red plaid pearl clip-buttoned Levi's shirts has become an obssesion.
I can't believe there were once so common, and now they're... NOWHERE!
At least nowhere I've looked.
I'd settle for one of the denim ones from that era.
Any ideas...?
