Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in promo shots for The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers

My wife’s business has recently made connections for her with a young industrious English woman by the name of Marissa Montgomery, who creates a clothing line of very nice things if you’re in the market for some beauties for your beautiful lady.

In passing, Marissa mentioned her father being a rather well-known photographer – David Montgomery. When hearing of the conversation, my first reaction was Google, of course. I have to say that yes, I’d heard of David Montgomery, but holy crap!, I really hadn’t known the extent of this man’s legendary portfolio. Rolling through the work on his site, you come face to face with one iconic face after another.

I grabbed a few pics from his site to share (with David Montgomery watermarks well intact). You should visit his site to get the full breadth of his work- you will most likely be a bit taken aback by how many pieces are so recognizable.

As soon as I click Publish for this post, I am heading off to the nearest bookstore to find one of his books for myself.
