Old Faithful Shop | Vancouver B.C.

I now have one more to add to my list of places to visit on my next trip out West (and a bit North to Vancouver, to be exact). I used to travel a couple times a year to Vancouver for work and really found it to be a great place. A perfect mix of art communities, fantastic eclectic restaurants, vintage shopping, and all nicely spread out in one of the cleanest and prettiest cities I’ve been in.
I happily stumbled upon The Old Faithful Shop recently via their shop’s blog called Old Chum. The blog for the most part supports the shop with photos of the owner’s latest finds and relevant local news.

The shop is located in the Gastown historic district of Vancouver. For a shop catering to people in the know, there’s no better place to hang their shingle. And what they actually cater runs the gamut. Collected from England, Boston, Japan, and across Canada, they have all sorts of great housewares, vintage books and planners, lighting, rucksacks and linens, and even hanging terrariums.

The above shot is of Old Faithful’s co-owners Savannah Olsen and Walter Manning- and the shop’s four-legged love child, Jean Pierre.

The above two rows of photos are from Walter Manning.

A very nice interview with Walter by Booooooom!, if you are so inclined.
